Contract Mechanical Engineer
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer II Job Description Dive into an exhilarating opportunity as a Mechanical Engineer II, where you'll be at the forefront of designing innovative product lines within our water products group. Your expertise will play a crucial role in creating accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and generating precise estimates to support our sales teams. You'll also provide competitive quotes for new designs and breathe new life into existing drawings. Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams and an electrical engineer to elevate our product development to new heights. Key Responsibilities: + Innovative Design: Lead the design of multiple product lines within the water products group, pushing the boundaries of engineering excellence. + BOM Creation: Develop detailed Bill of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production. + Estimate Generation: Generate precise estimates to assist our sales teams in making informed decisions. + Quoting & Redesign: Provide competitive quotes for new designs and redesign existing drawings to meet evolving customer needs. + Collaborative Development: Work hand-in-hand with manufacturing teams and an electrical engineer to enhance product development and drive innovation. Essential Skills: + Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. + Software Proficiency: Expertise in SolidWorks. + BOM Experience: Proven experience in creating and managing Bill of Materials (BOMs). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
