Contract Modeling Analyst

HealthPartners is currently hiring for a Contract Modeling Analyst. The Analyst is responsible for building and maintaining all HealthPartners’ hospital, physician professional (clinics, surgical and clinics), and Ambulatory Service Center (ASC) contracts in an enterprise-wide electronic medical health record (EPIC). This role collaborates with stakeholders across multiple departments that include revenue cycle, payor relations, reimbursement, IT, and finance. The Analyst utilizes various complex methods of contract modeling in EPIC to support the recovery of appropriate net revenue for all HealthPartners entities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, health or public administration, project management, or a related field. Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will also be accepted. Five (5) years project management and process development experience with a minimum of two (2) years in a health care or financial related role.Preferred Qualifications:
Five or more (5+) years of health care contract and/or hospital insurance payor contract experience. Two or more (2+) years of Hospital billing revenue cycle development experience. Experience with Epic ResoluteHours/Location:
M-F; Days May work remote but will prefer local candidates for occasional onsite needs.Accountabilities:
Accurately, efficiently, and independently builds hospital, professional, and ASC contracts in EPIC (75%) Utilizes EPIC contract modeling tools to monitor contract performance for new contracts and annual rate updates (5%) Performs complex analyses to support reimbursement impact analysis (5%) Collaborates with Revenue Cycle and Finance Teams on contract building and analysis requests (5%) Partner with IT on estimate template build and testing (5%) Performs other duties as assigned.
