Job Description Summary:

We are looking for a Contract Operations Analyst to support PayPal, where he/she will support the execution of contracts and related processes for the commercial legal team.

Job Description:

Your way to impact  

You will be a strong problem solver as part of the Legal Operations team, to support the execution of contracts and related processes. You will have the opportunity to help streamline and make the end-to-end process for commercial agreements more efficient. 

Your day to day: 

Supporting contract management and execution process, include electronic signatures and local wet signature execution. Some tasks need to be completed in person, so office visits are required on a rotational and as-needed basis; 

Assign contracts to attorneys; 

Read and analyze contracts for specific terms and requirements in support of audits; 

Supporting the legal operations team with process improvements and system trainings; 

Create and maintain user guides and/or training materials to provide onboarding, training and technical support to legal teammates and business customers on new technology tools and procedures. 

Process Improvements - Streamlines and redesigns processes within legal through operational activities and system improvements. Identifies, communicates, and makes recommendations to address process inefficiencies. Lead process improvement initiatives. 

Provide guidance on technology and systems to improve legal team productivity and efficiency in collaboration with IT, and manage the design, rollout and training for new and updated systems. 

What do you need to bring-  

Bachelor's degree in law, business, or a related field. 

Minimum of 3 years of experience working in legal operations for a large company or law firm 

Fluency (reading/writing/speaking) in English is essential 

Ability to read contracts with an eye for specific legal provisions (such as termination, exclusivity and pricing) 

Ability to multitask and work independently 

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills 

Confident self-starter with excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills 

Team player 

Adaptable individual possessing high integrity, excellent judgment, a sense of humour and a love for fun and adventure. 

Technologically savvy with an interest in contract management tools and extreme competency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, & Microsoft Outlook 

Knowledge and enthusiasm for the PayPal business/products 

Preferred: Experience using PowerBI (or PowerAutomate tools) for workflow and CLM systems (Salesforce)
