The Area Renewal Sales Representative position that will be responsible for renewing Automation, Fire, Security maintenance, test and inspections agreements, and subscription-based software products, upsells, price increases and extending new and add on services for Area customers. Candidates should be able to engage with various levels of contacts over the phone and in person to advance the customer journey through the renewal stages. A key part of this role is identifying possible roadblocks to customer longevity in various parts of the Siemens/Customer relationship, including product training, license deployment, and license utilization. Skills include identification of potential customer needs, detailed account assessment, and in-depth collaboration with other internal teams.
Candidates will develop a deep understanding over time of the products, service and solutions they are required to renew and sell. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, phone contact management experience, Renewal Sales Representatives are in constant collaboration with Area and Zone team members.
Responsibilities:
Leverage phone email and in person communication to nurture relationships with our existing customer base.Comprehend and interpret a customer’s account lifecycle needsProactively identify opportunities to boost customer revenue through upsell services and price increases.Collaborate with Sales Reps, Customer Success Managers, and other teams as required to ensure a positive customer experience.Manage the renewal sales pipeline and report sales activities and key performance indicators during regular sales meetings.Support the progression of customers through milestones of the buyer’s adoption, expansion, and renewal.Execute risk mitigation and upgrades plans as led by the Customer Success Manager and Service Ops Team.Implement objection handling tactics to reduce customer attrition.Skills and Abilities Required
Able to interact with a large variety of people including sales, presales, post sales and customers from various industrial sectors and at different levels of responsibility.Building relationships over the phone to develop and close business is essential.Relentless focus on following up with decision makers and maintaining forward movement of the customer journey throughout the defined process.Using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage, monitor and track opportunities on a timely basis, as well as document & research customer information and sales activities.Strong level of verbal and written local language requiredYou will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or state-recognized GED0+ years of Experience with sales, account and business development, and consulting within the Building Automation, Security, Commercial Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Life Safety or similar commercial building/construction industries.On-the-job experience with:Selling service agreements to multiple levels of the customer’s organizationCommon fire and life safety systems and equipmentBuilding safety inspection codes and standards (IFC, IBC, NFPA, ASHREA).Estimating and selling technical solutions and servicing offerings effectively and independently Verbal and written communication skills in EnglishExperience with Microsoft Office suite Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or EngineeringSalesforce CRMSoftware, IoT, and networking experienceExperience in the life sciences, healthcare, education, data center, and/or commercial office vertical marketsExperience selling to end users/owners and demonstrated understanding of how to market, position, and sell cloud-based, data-driven service programs such as fault detection and diagnostics to existing and new customersYou’ll benefit from:
