Contract Representative Associate - NY EPIC RemoteJob Description

The Associate Contract Representative is responsible for providing contract administration and ensuring process adherence in support of Prime’s contracting efforts. This position is responsible for supporting the solicitation, initiation and maintenance of Prime’s agreements with various business entities within their designated business area. This position is also responsible for maintaining the integrity of new and executed agreements and will support new contract development and ensuring overall compliance of regulatory and/or client contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

Supports the review, administration and document management for all contracts between the business area and its relevant external entitiesFacilitates correspondence throughout the contract and negotiation processes and communicate any necessary information to internal stakeholders or department leadership May be responsible for rate negotiations as assigned and within the department rate structure and target parametersFacilitate the contract documentation, approval and signature processes and ensure all contractual obligations are in adherence with company policies and business strategySupports all contracting and re-contracting initiatives through the coordination of electronic and physical tracking, storage and distribution of contract documents, ensuring adherence to the records and information management standards for archival and destruction, and ensuring accurate and timely executionMay be responsible for conducting contract termination process, including appeals and debarment as applicableIdentify opportunities for improvement within contract document development, implementation, and maintenance processesRepresent contracting on interdepartmental and cross functional projects or initiativesResponsible for maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and Desktop ProceduresOther duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, healthcare management or related area of study, or the equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required2 years of work experience in contracting, business process administration or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) organization, healthcare or other highly regulated industry1 year of experience within contract negotiationsMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using Contract Management software including maintaining and managing databasesWorking knowledge of Microsoft AccessExperience working with large volume of contracts

Potential pay for this position ranges from $23.08 - $37.02 based on experience and skills.
