Contract Review Specialist

This is your chance to work in a role that directly impacts the industries shaping the world’s future! **Job Summary:** As a **Contract Review Administrator** , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that customer inquiries, contracts, and agreements align with our client’s technical standards, industry regulations, and policies. Your ability to analyze complex contracts, mitigate risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams will ensure smooth contract processes. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your attention to detail and communication skills in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Contract Analysis & Risk Management:** + Review and assess contracts, technical documents, and purchase orders to identify risks, discrepancies, or non-compliance issues. + Proactively work with internal teams and customers to mitigate potential risks and resolve issues before they arise. + **Contract Negotiation & Modifications:** + Collaborate with stakeholders to propose necessary contract changes to protect the company’s interests and ensure alignment with customer needs. + Be the point of contact for customers and provide clear communication regarding any modifications, deviations, and contract requirements. + **Shop Router Instructions Creation:** + Develop detailed shop router instructions for each contract item using Epicor ERP systems, outlining necessary manufacturing operations, tests, inspections, and certifications. + **Material Certification Approval:** + Review and approve raw material certifications, ensuring they meet customer requirements prior to procurement. + **Supplier Collaboration & Issue Resolution:** + Work closely with suppliers to resolve any technical or processing issues related to customer purchase orders and ensure smooth production flow. + **Cross-Functional Teamwork:** + Collaborate with departments such as procurement, sales, finance, and quality assurance to ensure that contracts are executed in alignment with the company’s business objectives. + **Quality Assurance & Compliance:** + Partner with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to ensure that certifications, inspections, and testing meet customer specifications and industry standards. + **Documentation & Record-Keeping:** + Maintain thorough, organized records of contract reviews, modifications, approvals, and related communications. + Manage contract review results in the company’s Technical Review SharePoint system. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** Bachelor's degree in business, a related discipline, or a technical field preferred. Technical certifications are a plus. + **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years in contract review, technical analysis, or a related field. + **Skills:** + Strong knowledge of technical terminology, military contracts, and regulatory compliance. + Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills. + Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. + Experience with contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite. + Familiarity with industry-specific regulations (ISO9001, MIL-1-45208, MIL-Q-9858) and standards is a plus. + Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment and handle complex contract matters. + **Additional Expertise:** + Lead root cause corrective action analysis and documentation for managing customer concerns. + Knowledge of destructive and non-destructive testing methods for precision forgings and industrial fasteners. **Additional Information:** This position may require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines or address urgent contract matters.
