Job Description

We are seeking 2 Contract Specialists for a 12-month contract (with the option to convert to a permanent employee in the future) in Westminster, CO.  These roles will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week onsite/in the office in Westminster, CO, and 2 days per week working remotely.  

In these roles, you will: 

Provide contract negotiation and administration on a variety of programs encompassing all phases of the contract life cycle (pre-proposal through contract close out).  Collaborate with other employees in the department, cross-functionally and with program personnel, and for establishing effective relationships with key customers. Assist the Senior Manager in reviewing contracts and related documents to assess risk to the company and recommend mitigation approaches and ensure compliance with various federal regulations and company policy.Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule in accordance with company policy.Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment

QualificationsBS/BA in a related field plus 10 or more years related experience.Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.Government and Commercial (domestic and international desirable) contracts experience.A strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), with a particular emphasis on intellectual property, government property, formation of proposals, and negotiations.Experienced with cost reimbursable, award fee and incentive fee contracts.Experience with Firm Fixed Price contracts.Strong communications skills, computer fluency, agile and effective negotiation skills with clear oral and written explanations.Ability to work a variety of complex issues at one time.Experience in developing and implementing negotiation strategies.Ability to be a leader with strong conflict resolution skills in a changing environment.

Additional Information

These 12-month contract roles will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week onsite/in the office in Westminster, CO, and 2 days per week working remotely.  These roles will pay between $55-$76 per hour.
