The Contract Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to execution and compliance monitoring. They are detail-oriented with strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, capable of collaborating with various departments to ensure contracts meet both legal standards and organizational objectives.

What You'll Do  Contract Development and Negotiation: Drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners. Ensures contracts are clear, comprehensive, and aligned with organizational goals. Compliance and Risk Management: Monitors compliance with contract terms and applicable laws and regulations. Identifies potential risks and develops mitigation strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Support: Works closely with legal, finance, procurement, and operations teams to facilitate contract execution and compliance. Provides expert guidance on contract-related inquiries and issues. Database Management: Maintains an organized and accurate contract management database. Ensures timely renewals, amendments, and terminations of contracts. Performance Monitoring: Tracks contract performance metrics and reports on compliance and effectiveness. Addresses and resolves any disputes or performance issues that arise. Who You Are With 3-5+ years of experience in contract management or a similar role. Have a law degree from a recognized Indian university or equivalent. Possess a strong understanding of software and technology contracting and negotiating customer contracts. Possess in-depth knowledge of contract law and regulations. Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in contract management software (e.g., IronClad, Salesforce) and  Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Even Better If You Have... Proven negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously. 3+ years of commercial and privacy contracting experience under United Kingdom, European, United States, and APAC laws at a recognized law firm or technology company.
