Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for a Contract Specialist III providing direct support to Federal contracts in support of Indian Health Services (IHS) to raise the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaska Natives to the highest level and assure that comprehensive, culturally acceptable personal and public health services are available and accessible to members of the 566 federally recognized Tribes across the United States. Responsibilities Soliciting Completing contracting modifications for various actions to include complex or funding only actions Ensure invoicing is completed and received by Federal staff Create a doctor and nurse tracking log including hour counts and projections, period of performance with transition dates, and as needed preparations Manage a contract and requisition tracking log by creating and supporting strong measures for data validation and reporting Interacting with Federal staff to act as a point of contact on all doctor and nursing contracting actions Data analysis on federal contracts to create meaningful and actionable data on past and future contracting actions Includes cost variance and spending to ensure contracts are fully funded to prevent ratifications and confirming orders Contractor performance analysis for providers and nurses to ensure goals are met Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field Minimum 5 years in Government Contracting Specialized experience in closeouts, data analysis, cost analysis, and expedited contract actions Minimum 4 years in healthcare with knowledge about hospital/clinic staffing and professions Understanding of providing rural healthcare services preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent written and oral communication skills Required to develop familiarity and abide by current policies, procedures, by-laws and regulations of acquisition Expected schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm Will have the option to work alternative work schedule, compressed work schedule, or regular straight time. Can be located on-site, telework, or fully remote Must confirm with Government of acceptability before placement No weekends or holidays Final salary determination based on skill-set, qualifications, and approved funding.
