Salary: £32,490- £36,870 per annum

Internal Secondment / Fixed-Term Contract - 12 months

This role of the Contract Support Officer is within the Brokerage Team, which is part of the Contract Compliance, Placements and Blue Badge Teams.

This role will support Thurrock Council to obtain value for money by robust negotiation of fees for adult social care.

Source suitable adult placements for people that can offer appropriate support to prevent further deterioration and to allow them to live as independently as they are able to. 

Support hospital discharges for people on pathways 1 -3.

The role also assists in verification of new supported accommodation and care home providers, both within Thurrock and outside out of borough.

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check at Enhanced Level will be required for this post.
