Contractor – Promotional Materials Review Compliance

Position Summary

The Contractor role for Promotional Materials Review Compliance is responsible for managing Copy Review Board (CRB) (commonly known as MLR/PRC) governance, strategic planning and operations to ensure a proactive, efficient and consistent review of materials across the Amicus organization, including Global, US and International.  This role will work with the VP, US Compliance and Ethics to lead the cross functional project team in assessing our current CRB process and Veeva PromoMats including making recommendations on how to streamline it, reimagine it and deploy it and implementing a prioritized workplan.  In parallel, this role manages the current day-to-day operations of CRB meetings, overseeing the prompt submission and approval of materials, and ensuring adherence to established guidelines and plays a key role in strategic planning by supporting and reporting on current and upcoming projects and managing major milestones.

Roles and Responsibilities

1.           Strategic Planning

•            Partner with the VP, US Compliance and Ethics and the CRB Working Group for future vision, prioritization and roadmap

•            Reporting, planning and communicating on current and upcoming projects and managing major milestones aligned to annual business plans

•            Develop and implement KPIs and other critical metrics across the materials lifecycle

2.           CRB Governance, Process and System Management

•            Work cross-functionally to assess and implement the “future state” of CRB across Commercial and Medical Affairs with geographic span of Global, US and International needs

•            Handle the continuous improvement of Veeva PromoMats

•            Manage process documentation and training materials; facilitate training to users

3.           Day to Day Operations

•            Lead the current Copy Review Board (CRB) process to ensure a proactive, efficient and consistent review of materials across the Amicus organization, including Global, US and International

•            Manage the day-to-day operations of CRB meetings, overseeing the prompt submission and approval of materials, and ensuring adherence to established guidelines

•            Manage meeting documentation including developing the meeting agenda, recapping discussions, and follow up on action items

•            Cross-functionally partner across the organization and vendors for prioritization, and proactively identifying discrepancies and errors prior to routing materials; conduct spot checks on final materials and metadata

Requirements

Educational Requirements

•            Bachelor’s degree

 

Professional Work Experience Requirements

•            Experience in managing the promotional materials review process

•            Minimum of five (5) of experience in an advertising and promotion related field, such as in marketing/advertising operations within pharmaceuticals or other industries, advertising agency, marketing communications, or direct marketing company

Experience and Skills

•            Must have experience with managing Veeva PromoMats

•            Strong skills in collaborating cross-functionally

•            Must have strong knowledge of pharmaceutical advertising and promotion practices agency management, print production, and materials management skills

•            Anticipates problems and roadblocks to avoid crisis management

•            Communication, change management, influencing, and networking skills are critical

•            Effectively prioritizes and spends time on what is important

•            Ensures timely execution and follow-up and meets deadlines

•            Meeting facilitation experience required

Travel
