We are currently seeking a dedicated and security-conscious Contractor Escort to oversee and accompany construction and maintenance contractors within our high-security manufacturing facility. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure all contractors adhere to safety, security, and operational protocols while on-site. This position requires vigilance, attention to detail, and the ability to enforce company safety and security policies effectively. This is a 40 hr work week position that will requires the ability to work flexible hours.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Escort and monitor construction and maintenance personnel in restricted and security areas.
• Ensure contractors comply with all security, safety, and company policies, including ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) and facility-specific protocols.
• Maintain constant awareness of contractor activities to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive areas.
• Conduct pre- and post-entry security checks to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Report any security violations, unsafe conditions, or deviations from protocol to and facility management.
• Coordinate with project managers, safety officers, and security teams to facilitate smooth contractor operations.
• Assist in emergency response situations, including evacuations and medical incidents.
• Ensure contractors use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to all OSHA and site-specific safety regulations.
• Document contractor activities and progress, incidents, and any security concerns in detailed reports.
• Other duties as required
Job Qualifications:
• Two years of experience in a manufacturing setting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in manufacturing production, facilities maintenance, or construction oversight
• Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required safety and security training.
• Knowledge of safety and security procedures, including OSHA and ITAR regulations.
• Excellent communication and observational skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including navigating construction and industrial environments.
• Proficient using Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
• Must be willing to work outdoors conducting physical inventory of equipment and spares
• Must be able to climb a ladder
