Responsibilities

Summary:(Virtual/Remote Role)

 

This position will be responsible for developing and managing Frontdoor’s entity general contractor and relevant trade licenses on a nationwide scale.  The position will work with members of the Legal team and other key stakeholders, including individual license holders, to gather information for applications, submission, and ongoing management of relevant licenses.  This position will also be responsible for renewals and ongoing maintenance of such licenses. 

Responsibilities:

Subject matter expert on all state and local contractor licensing rules and regulations.Work with senior leadership to develop processes and programs for maintaining contractor licensing roadmap using industry best practices Manage all license acquisition and renewal policies and programsManage legal department initiatives and project plan for license tracking automationLeads projects and cross functional project teams in accomplishing contractor licensing-related initiativesWork with key stakeholders to develop strategic plans and timeline for contractor license planning and associated business expansion. Work with key stakeholders to obtain required contractor licenses.Maintain a repository of all contractor licenses with required internal and external due dates.File, renew and ensure timely payment of all contractor licenses, including initial submissions and renewals.Review and proactively track and manage contractor license requirements and work with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with all license requirements are timely satisfied.May assume other duties as applied. Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirements:

 

High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

 

Minimum Experience required:

 

5+ years of experience managing entity and relevant individual level general contractor and trade specific licensing

 

Required Skills:

Experience with creating, handling and/or managing state licensure filings with various state and local government entitiesDemonstrated ability to handle and analyze difficult issues in a professional, constructive, and proactive manner

 

Preferred Skills:

Must be tech-savvy and possess a strong willingness to learnProficient with ExcelCustomer focus and “can do” attitudeStrong issue identification and problem-solving skillsAbility to multi-task with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines within a changing, fast-paced environmentTeam player with strong interpersonal and communication skills Other/State Specific

This role pays between $85,900 to $100,000 and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
