Contractor Manager - Nelnet Bank

The Contractor Manager is a newly created position responsible for the creation of and oversight of day-to-day management of the contractors in our Nelnet Bank Home Improvement division. Nelnet Bank is an online industrial loan charter bank, focused on education and home improvement financing. Nelnet Bank is regulated by the FDIC and Utah Department of Financial Institutions.Oversee and monitor the bank’s contractor networkWork closely with the Business Development, Operations and Compliance teams to create processes and procedures to track and resolve contractor issues and complaintsCoordinate and optimize operational solutions with third party vendors and affiliates as neededWork closely with Business Development, Compliance, Credit and Risk to underwrite contractors  Ensure the bank is meeting customer’s needs by sharing ideas, feedback, and complaints with stakeholdersAssist with creation and testing of new products and servicesOversee and train contractor management staff to handle contractor issues and concernsOther initiatives, special projects, and duties as assigned

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in business or related field

EXPERIENCE:

Home improvement lending knowledgeHome improvement contractor managementDevelopment of policies and proceduresKnowledge and understanding of banking regulationsProject and vendor managementMust possess ability to engage others and to work collaboratively with all departments across the organization

**Pay Range for this position is - $80,000 - $110,000
