Position Purpose:
The Sr. Marketing Content Specialist (MCS) is responsible for developing, updating and delivering marketing campaigns and materials to drive awareness for Contractors’ Warehouse, products, brands and features. This role will split its time between mid-level design and content-creation (~70%) and managing project details and timelines (~30%). The Sr. MCS must excel at collaborating with other marketing team members. The Sr. MCS must be comfortable seeking out information and collaborating independently, with internal stakeholders and teams. The Sr. MCS should have professional experience designing flawless assets for digital environments. This role must be able to take an idea from scratch through completion with minimal direction on design best-practices and brand-adherence. This role should be proactive in understanding Contractors’ Warehouse, it’s broader ecosystem and opportunities for integrated communication. The Sr. MCS should proactively own the lifecycle of a campaign and other work as assigned, including research, creating, proofing, testing, tracking and optimizing where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
70% Creating/Tracking/Optimizing to Drive Associate Awareness - Partner with internal teams to ideate on and create, from scratch, digital content for the website and social media platforms, internal and external communications and other materials including video, to increase awareness of and interaction with Contractors’ Warehouse Partner with Marketing Communications Specialist and Product as necessary to execute communication plans to support new feature launches; Gives formally organized presentations to present final work, to gain alignment, solicit feedback, present ideas, share results, and/or provide status on larger projects or campaigns.30% Managing Project Details – Own all phases of the marketing communication creation from working with Project Specialist and CMS systems to source all necessary information/assets, to creating materials, publishing, tracking, testing and optimizing; This includes fast-track requests for marketing support, knowing what questions to ask and who to partner with to successfully create and implement campaigns; Measure messaging effectiveness by creating and conducting creative testing, soliciting feedback and reviewing campaign metrics; Proactively make/implement recommendations for improvement and track progress; Develop and present creative brief and project completion communication documentation for all non-day-today campaign work.Preferred Qualifications:
