Marmon is now seeking a Contracts Administrator who will collaborate with Marmon’s in-house Legal department, external counsel, and Marmon’s business units to help optimize the efficiency of Marmon’s commercial contract review process and the use of its contracts management system (CMS). Reporting to Marmon’s Sr. Corporate & Contracts Paralegal, the Contracts Administrator will bring relevant knowledge, skill, and experience working with a CMS. The ideal candidate will have experience using generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools, such as CoCounsel, or have the interest and capacity to learn.

What You'll Do:

The Contracts Administrator will manage a variety of commercial contract matters, including core responsibilities to:

Act as contract administrator primarily responsible for completing day-to-day activities in connection with the contract review process, including:the assignment of contract reviews – both within and outside the CMS;reviewing the CMS dashboard on daily basis to ensure proper assignment and categorization of requests;ensuring executed contracts are properly maintained;leading implementation of an AI tool to assist with abstracting key data and uploading into the CMS;utilizing the AI tool to ensure abstraction of executed contracts for key terms;assisting with preparing and reconciling reports on contract activity, incorporating data from several different sources;assisting with providing analysis of contract data to internal legal team and applicable external counsel;tracking external counsels’ contract review acceptance status;following up with assigned outside counsel and internal clients to ensure timely contract reviews.Liaise with CMS provider on an as-needed basis for system updates and modificationsAssist in setting up CMS user access and providing user trainingCreate redline comparison or merge documents for in-house counselAssist Marmon attorneys in creating a clause library and creating/updating standard templatesAssist with creating first draft redlines of inbound contracts based on established rules by contract type

What You'll Bring to the Role:

A bachelor’s degreeAt least three (3) years of relevant contracts experiencePrior experience in administration of commercial contracts and CMS platforms preferredPrior experience using AI tools, such as CoCounsel, is a plusA high degree of self motivation with strong attention to detail, superior organizational and analytical skills, and exceptional reliability in task completionAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionProven success in managing, organizing, and completing multiple tasks and prioritiesExcellent ability to communicate both orally and in writing, including communications with internal clients as well as external counselStrong critical thinking and issue identification skillsApproachable, positive, energetic, and proactive demeanorStrong ethics and professional integrity with the ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential data and information in an appropriate mannerProficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
