Seeking an Eager Financial Transaction Documentation Specialist in Johnston!!

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Financial Transaction Documentation Specialist to review financial transaction documentation, ensuring legal enforceability and adherence to company policies. This role requires you to establish the company’s security interests in equipment, analyze documents to reflect customer intentions, and collaborate with various teams to provide timely solutions.

ResponsibilitiesReview financial transaction documentation to ensure legal enforceability and adherence to company policies.Establish the company’s security interests (UCC and/or Title) in the equipment.Analyze documents to ensure customer intentions are reflected accurately.Execute documents on behalf of the company.Ensure proper upload of transactions into appropriate systems for booking, funding, tracking, and invoicing.Ensure information entered is in conformance with program requirements, company policies, and pricing and profitability parameters.Act as the last line of defense for adherence to company Know Your Customer policies as well as various state, federal, and provincial regulations.Interface cross-functionally with areas such as Sales, Sales Support, Credit, Legal, and Operations to resolve pre- and post-booking transactional, customer, and dealer issues.Contribute to department efficiencies by identifying opportunities for improvement and participating in projects to develop and implement solutions.Participate in ongoing policy and procedure review and development.Work simultaneously in multiple systems.Take initiative to seek and participate in formal and informal training opportunities to enhance your knowledge and value to the company.Skills & QualificationsAssociate's/Vocational Degree or equivalent business experience is preferred.Previous experience in the financial services industry or in an administrative role is preferred.Basic knowledge of leasing and/or financial service products is preferred.Work EnvironmentThis is a hybrid position requiring local candidates only (must be within 50 miles of Johnston, IA office). In-office attendance is required 8 times per month, with 2 of these days being Monday or Friday. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST, with optional overtime during peak periods. The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
