About the Role As the Contracts Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting procurement functions by managing and coordinating contracts throughout their lifecycle. While prior procurement experience is not required, a strong foundation in handling contracts, paired with government or public sector experience, will set you apart. Key Responsibilities: + Support the Procurement Team in preparing, drafting, reviewing, and managing contractual agreements. + Ensure compliance with organizational policies, state and federal regulations, and public sector procurement standards. + Coordinate with internal departments to address contract-related questions and resolve issues. + Monitor contract performance, track deadlines, and identify opportunities for renewal or negotiation. + Maintain accurate and organized records of active and expired contracts. + Serve as a liaison between vendors, contractors, and external partners to facilitate contract execution and foster strong business relationships. Requirements What We’re Looking For: + Experience: At least 1+ years of experience in contracts administration (required). + Public Sector Background: Strong preference for candidates with experience in government, public sector organizations, or industries with complex regulations. + Skills and Attributes: + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. + Strong written and verbal communication abilities. + Willingness to dive into procurement-specific training and processes. + Proficiency in managing contract databases and using relevant software tools.
