Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator - Level 5 (Staff), to join our Payload & Ground Systems team in Commerce, CA or San Diego, CA. Our Contracts Administrator will work closely on a day-to-day basis with the Program Managers/Directors, Business Managers, Operations Managers, Capture Managers, and functional teams. You will have responsibility for all aspects of a contract portfolio from the business development phase through closeout, delivering customer satisfaction, building customer relationships and providing timely responses to both external and internal customers. Your initial duties of the selected candidate will be to provide contracts support to major capture and proposal efforts.

Prioritize proposal activities and working on multiple tasks simultaneously Identify contractual risks and mitigate with appropriate contract provisions Act as key business advisor to the program managers on contractual and operational matters Plan and execute successful contract negotiations of a complex nature and achieving targeted profit rates, favorable terms and conditions on both contracts and other agreements inclusive of teaming agreements required to assist in mitigating risk and meeting overall financial goals Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table – Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 10+ years of professional experienceWill consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degreeExperience negotiation and administering various contract types, working with DoD proposals and understanding of government contracting regulations (FAR, DFAR)Experience working with DoD proposalsMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret or Top-Secret security clearance

Salary Range: $141,400.00 - $212,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
