Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Contracts Administrator Senior Advisor to join our Federal Health division contracts team. This position will focus on supporting the program in developing proposals, program contract activities, and customer engagement. The ideal individual will be experienced in administering federal health IT contracts and task orders; have expertise in risk and OCI assessments; have an ability to apply strategic resolutions to address business and programmatic risks; as well as identifying and analyzing complex and strategic contract matters.

HOW A CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR ADIVOSR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Administers a portfolio of contracts through negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification, financial reporting, and product deliveryEnsures internal contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectivesNegotiates contracts, including price, terms, and conditions, and reviews subsequent contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to executionServes as point of contact with internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problemsReviews requests for proposals and participates in proposal color reviewsReviews and approves solicited and unsolicited proposals for submission to customersReviews and negotiates various types of agreementsInterprets contractual work requirements and obligationsMakes recommendations regarding contracts implementationMaintains current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practicesMay coach/mentor less-experienced professionalsParticipates in special projects as requiredMay serve as a team or task lead

wHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of degree, 14 years of years related experience in US Federal contracts administration.Required Experience: 10+ years related experience in US Federal contracts administrationRequired Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)Required Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of contracts administration practices, procedures, and processes. Works independently under limited supervision. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, as well as, advanced analytical, critical thinking, and negotiation abilities. Highly experienced with various contract types. Advanced Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and customer agency supplements.Location: This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Falls Church, VA. Must be comfortable working onsite 3 days a week.US Persons required
