Job Description
The Contracts and Proposals Specialist (CPS) will collaborate with the business development team to manage Requests For Proposals and create study budgets. The CPS will also assist in drafting Statements of Work and Change Orders for awarded projects. This role requires a proactive individual who can multitask effectively and work under strict deadlines while prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesCreate study budgets and revisions based on the scope of work.Assist in the creation of change orders and follow through to execution.Create and revise proposal content in collaboration with the business development team.Obtain third-party costs as needed.Assist in drafting Statements of Work (SOWs) and Change Orders (COs).Track the lifecycle of contracts, monitor key deadlines, and deliverables, and proactively communicate with relevant parties to initiate processes as necessary.Comply with and understand company operations, policies, and procedures.Develop and maintain strong professional relationships, providing support to business development team members and clients.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsMinimum 2 years of clinical research experience.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Great organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.Excellent communication skills.Meticulous attention to detail.Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Basic computer skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in contract management and data entry.Paralegal skills.Experience with Phase I clinical trials.Knowledge of Confidentiality Agreements.Experience in budget and proposal creation.Previous experience in a Contract Research Organization (CRO) environment is preferred.Work Environment
This is a remote role, requiring the candidate to have Phase I research experience. The position offers a 10% bonus of the base salary after two years of employment and starts with 4 weeks of paid time off (PTO). The ideal candidate will come from an Early Phase CRO background. The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
