Contracts Attorney
Description We are actively searching for a Contracts Attorney to join our team in the manufacturing industry based in Bloomington, Minnesota. As a Contracts Attorney, you will be primarily focused on handling a variety of commercial contracts. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Drafting a wide range of commercial sales agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. • Conducting thorough reviews of commercial agreements and providing actionable feedback. • Negotiating contract terms with clients and vendors to reach mutual agreements. • Maintaining an organized and up-to-date record of all commercial agreements. • Providing legal support and guidance to our team on matters related to commercial contracts. • Monitoring the performance of contracts and ensuring all obligations are met. • Collaborating with other team members to streamline the contract drafting and review process. • Addressing and resolving any legal issues related to commercial contracts. Requirements • Applicant should hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Admission to the State Bar is necessary. • Demonstrated experience as a Contracts Attorney in the manufacturing industry is required. • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts. • Solid understanding of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, and government regulations. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are crucial. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Capability to work independently and as part of a team. • High degree of detail-oriented ethics, integrity, and confidentiality. • Familiarity with international law and corporate governance is a plus. • A background in life sciences is a plus.
