Salary: $85,860 - $129,480

Relocation Available 

Focus: Oversees the administration, negotiation, and management of contracts within the organization.  Ensures that all contracts comply with legal requirements, regulations, and organizational policies. The Contract Manager works closely with various departments to provide guidance and support throughout the contract lifecycle, from initial drafting to final execution and renewal.

Contracts Manager Essential Job Functions:

Works directly with the Contracts Program Sr. Manager on contract documentation or other related documents for approval and execution by appropriate company leader. Reviews final executed contracts or other related documents to create and maintain contract records. Coordinates and conducts formal submission of routine and non-routine contract documentation (CDRLs), correspondence, requests, etc. Maintain contract information in ERP system (CostPoint), as well as review and audit existing records to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures. Ensure adherence to company policies, controls, "SOX" requirements and best business practices. Provide support to Contracts Program Sr. Manager for internal and external audits and compliance obligations. Serve as Contracts representative on multi-functional teams. With support from functional areas, this position prepares and issues proposals to potential customers, and negotiates resulting orders or awards. Contracts Manager Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree* 3 years' experience with reading, writing and interpreting legal contracts; experience with US Government contracts preferred. Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR (DFARs) preferred Must be an organized, self-starter with strong ability to prioritize and multitask with great attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Experience with ERP systems, e.g. CostPoint, SAP, etc., is preferred. Valid US driver's license  

Location-Specific Requirements: 

This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.  This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required. This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies. The US Government does not allow non-US citizens on-site at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant.  Therefore, to be considered in the hiring process, the candidate must be a US citizen.
