We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the Olo Legal Team and support our Sales, Customer, and Partnerships teams. Reporting to the VP, Deputy General Counsel, you will oversee a variety of commercial agreement negotiations, contract drafting, and templates. Our colleagues look to us to assess risk and provide clear guidance, while meeting Olo’s business objectives, so you should be detail-oriented, efficient, and able to work independently with commercial contracts. As part of a small legal team at a growing company, you will have the opportunity to broaden your skill set while serving a crucial, high visibility role at Olo.
You can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or at Olo's headquarters in NYC.What You'll DoReview, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including master services agreements, order forms, vendor services agreements, NDAs, service provider agreements, and terms of useManage existing contract renewals, non-renewals, extensions, terminations and amendmentsEnsure material legal data is accurate and up-to-date in our contract management systemDraft, maintain, and update contract templatesLead and participate in projects to increase the efficiency of commercial legal support and help scale the commercial legal functionWork closely with the revenue generating teams and proactively establish relationships with other departmentsProject manage and participate in ad-hoc contract reviews and auditsCreate commercial legal policy and process that will impact the entire organization as it matures and growsServe as a subject matter expert on contractual requirements and approval workflowsRespond to inquiries on contract interpretation and complianceStay informed and up to date on relevant legal and regulatory changesWhat We'll Expect From YouBachelor’s degree, plus Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) credentials are preferred5+ years of contract management experience, preferably for an in-house legal departmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interpret a variety of written and verbal instructionsExperience with contract management tools, including SalesforceHigh degree of comfort and proficiency with Microsoft WordAbility to work independently and as part of a close knit team, and the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentAbility to handle privileged, confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate and professional mannerAbout Olo
