Future Technologies is in search of a Contracts Manager to join our team. ResponsibilitiesThis role involves managing the full contract lifecycle, handling agreements critical to business partnerships, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and providing strategic support for new and existing government contracts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in government contracting, FAR/DFARS compliance, and managing NDAs and TAs.
Responsibilities:
Contract Management:Oversee the cradle-to-grave contract management process, including proposal preparation, award, administration, and closeout.Maintain and monitor contract compliance with FAR, DFARS, agency supplements, and organizational policies.NDAs and Agreements:Draft, review, and negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Teaming Agreements (TAs), and other corporate agreements.Ensure agreements align with company policies, risk thresholds, and compliance standards.Subcontractor Management: Negotiate, draft, and administer subcontracts, ensuring terms comply with prime contract requirements and monitoring performance to meet contract deliverables, schedules, and budgetary constraints.Support contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms while mitigating risk.Act as the primary liaison between the company and government customers on contract matters.Procurement:Ensure all procurement activities align with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and company policies, including cost/price analysis and competitive bidding processes.Compliance & Reporting:Ensure adherence to federal, state, and company policies.Prepare, review, and submit required contract reports and deliverables in a timely manner.Risk Management:Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks.Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.Collaboration:Work closely with program managers, finance, legal, and business development teams to align contract terms with organizational goals.Support the business development team with contract reviews during the proposal phase. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, or a related field.5+ years of experience in government contract management.Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.Experience drafting and negotiating NDAs, TAs, and similar agreements.Experience with Government (FAR / DFAR) contracting: Fixed Price (FP), Time & Material (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Level of Effort (LOE), Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and General Service Administration (GSA) type contracts.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications such as CFCM, CCCM, or CPCM.Experience with GSA schedules and Small Business requirements.Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint or similar systems.Active security clearance
