Contracts Manager
Description We are partnering with the country’s largest provider of concrete solutions to source a Contracts Manager on a fully remote, temporary basis to focus exclusively on a backlog of MSAs and long-term subcontract agreements. This role involves reading and redlining agreements that are not currently in active negotiation, ensuring compliance with company standards, legal requirements, and risk mitigation practices. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail and expertise in contract analysis within construction, oil, gas, or similar industries. This temporary 3-month assignment is fully remote, but candidates must reside in California. Key Responsibilities: + Focus on reading and redlining MSAs and long-term subcontract agreements to ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and risk mitigation strategies. + Review key terms and conditions, including indemnity clauses, payment terms, and risk allocation provisions, ensuring adherence to company standards. + Maintain accurate records of reviewed agreements, document required changes, and update stakeholders on progress. + Ensure agreements align with company objectives and industry best practices, identifying opportunities for standardization or improvement. + Coordinate with internal teams, such as legal and operations, to clarify contract terms and address identified risks. Requirements Qualifications: + 5+ years of experience in contracts management, with expertise in reviewing and redlining MSAs and subcontract agreements in construction, oil, gas, or similar industries. + Proven ability to thoroughly analyze contracts and identify risks or non-compliant terms. + Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with contract lifecycle management tools. + Strong understanding of indemnity clauses, payment terms, and risk mitigation strategies. + Must reside in California to align with state-specific compliance requirements. + Capable of managing a high volume of agreements independently within tight deadlines.
