Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Contracts Manager to join their leadership group to provide expertise and support on contract and subcontract management, as well as commercial risk and insurance matters. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in evaluating, drafting, and negotiating contractual agreements, while ensuring compliance with risk and insurance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assist leadership in managing contracts and subcontracts
+ Provide expertise on insurance requirements and policies
+ Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate issue resolution and collaboration.
+ Ensure accurate preparation and execution of final contract documents.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field. 7+ years of experience in contract management, accounting, legal, or a related area, ideally within the construction, engineering, or similar industries. Experience with legal and risk management is highly preferred. Full cycle contract management experience, including negotiations, is required. This position is 100% in-office in Denver. Requirements • Proven track record in Contract Management
• Skilled in Contract Negotiations with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in Reviewing Contracts to ensure all terms and conditions are favorable
• Must possess Construction Industry Experience, understanding the unique challenges and demands of the sector
• Proficiency in Business Risk Assessment to mitigate potential issues
• Familiarity with Compliance Risk, ensuring all activities adhere to industry regulations and company policies
• Ability to Draft Contracts that are clear, comprehensive, and legally sound
• Knowledge of Liability Insurance within the construction industry, ensuring adequate coverage for all projects.
