The Contracts Operations Manager plans, organizes, directs, and controls the systems and contract execution process, while overseeing the contract team. The Contracts Operations Manager reports operational results around SLAs and is responsible for overall execution of and adherence to the contracts playbook.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinates and administers an adequate plan for the control of operations. Provides assessment of system utilization and assistance with external vendor negotiations, assessing current volumes and team workload and proposing updates to structure that accommodate current business demand Responsible for the oversight of the contracts team, ensuring contract negotiations and execution are delivered within specified SLAs Coordinates all contract support from a divisional perspective, including escalation on negotiations outside of Contract Playbook guidelines. Leads various projects with regards to Amergis template changes and the legal department: playbook escalation, coordination and collaboration Establishes alignment within the contracts team and finance regional support teams. Oversees client template support/review and coordination within the finance teams for escalated negotiations on Amergis templates Responsible for the team’s development and approves all individual performance plans Consults with EDFO and RVP(s) regarding changes to contracts department alignment, and support for national sales and proposal teams strategies Provides other company departments with related information required by them to carry out their assigned responsibilities Keeps the CFO and Executive Director(s) of Finance informed of the departments performance and provides advice on all contractual matters Possesses an overall understanding of Amergis’ business lines/operations and their relationship with the operations of the region Adheres to all Internal policies and procedures as well as all corporate financial goals and objectives Works directly with the Legal team for escalated items requiring legal counsel Delegates work assignments and projects, gives authority to work independently, sets expectations and monitors delegated activities Performs other duties as assigned/necessary Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably a major in legal or contracts, Finance, Business Administration, or related field A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience ideally gained through increasingly responsible management positions within Finance and Contracts Knowledge of legal contracting concepts on supply chain management in relation to staffing. Working knowledge of accounting systems, well-developed financial analysis capabilities Advanced knowledge of Amergis’ internal computer systems (specifically the one’s leveraged for purpose of processing contracts), as well as Excel and Word High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities Strong negotiation, analytical and reasoning abilities Participative management style—advocates team concept Ability to establish credibility and be decisive—but able to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities Satisfactory communication skills, written and verbal Results- and profit-oriented with the ability to balance other business considerations. Demonstrates leadership qualities with ability to effectively manage a diverse team with differing skill levels Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate personnel in order to balance staffing strength with profitability and growth Adheres to all Amergis policies and procedures Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required At Amergis, we firmly believe that our employees are the heartbeat of our organization and we are happy to offer the following benefits:
