Job Summary:
Under the direction of General Counsel and working alongside members of the CRL team, the Project Contracts Specialist has responsibilities related to drafting and negotiating project vendor contracts, vendor relations, forms management/design, process development, and oversight of vendor compliance. Additionally, the Project Contracts Specialist will provide support to CRL team members to assist in carrying out the department’s initiatives.

Education:
· An associate’s degree in business or a related field. The degree may be substituted with a minimum of 5+ years of practical experience in contract review, drafting and negotiation.
Experience:
· At least 3 years of experience working with vendors and/or subcontractors from multiple disciplines within the construction industry is preferred.
Skills:
· Ability to work with and effectively communicate, orally and in writing, to all levels within the organization.
· Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment with a commitment to reach goals and meet deadlines.
· Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and well-organized.
· Demonstrates proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications.
· High-level computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new applications.
Responsibilities:
· Review awarded client contracts and contracts included with Requests for Proposals in support of Operations and Estimating. Prepare contract redlines and contract risk memos.
· Conduct negotiation of client and vendor contracts in coordination with Risk Manager, General Counsel and Operations.
· Provide support to Estimating and Operations in understanding contract terms and conditions and managing contract requirements.
· Support the department in identifying inefficiencies and making recommendations for streamlining processes.
· Effectively maintain positive and ethical working relationships with clients, vendors and internal customers.
· Support development of department policies, procedures and workflows.
· Support development of department training materials and presentations.
· Participate in cross training and act as a backup in related areas when needed.
· Contribute to the development and implementation of the CRL Department Strategic Plan.
· Actively support and promote ongoing development of LEAN processes in all CRL related areas.
· Other duties as required.
Physical Demands / Working Environment:
· Ability to lift twenty-five (25) pounds, bend, stoop, and work safely around equipment, materials, supplies, and other items to be handled.
· Ability to work at a computer for multiple hours.
Salary Range:
· $70K – $90K
· Pay is commensurate upon experience
