Control Intern

Purpose of the Job:

Primary responsibilities include supporting benefits and compensation accounting and various External Reporting processes. This position provides direct exposure to the markets as well as the brand Control teams and is a great way to learn the business.  A successful candidate will demonstrate organization skills and a strong attention to detail, and be able to manage competing priorities in order to meet deadlines. 

Job Functions:

Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end and quarter-end close processes. Perform account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting. Perform monthly stock close procedures, reconciling monthly share-based transactions to maintain an accurate share count. Support the External Reporting team’s preparation of quarterly financial statements, associated footnotes, and compilation of tie-out documentation from various Control team stakeholders. Assist in the preparation and documentation of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls as needed to support internal and external audit requirements. Support the Control team in ad hoc projects as necessary.

Education and Experience:

Pursuing an accounting degree Expected graduation date of 2026-2027

Team player; willingness to assist other team members during tight deadlines US Citizen or unrestricted work authorization (no sponsorship available)  Proven organization skills with ability to establish priorities and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously High degree of intellectual curiosity  Computer literacy and Excel skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills
