Job Summary
As a Control Monitoring Lead within the Global Corporate Banking team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our operations by preventing, detecting, and monitoring risks. You will be responsible for designing frameworks for monitoring internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering comprehensive reports to senior management. This position offers a dynamic and supportive team culture, fostering professional development and career mobility. In this role, you will lead a globally located team, acting as the single point of contact for functional control partners. You will collaborate with bankers to resolve control issues and contribute to the continuous improvement of our risk and control environment. Your efforts will directly support the firm's mission to maintain a robust risk management framework. 

Job responsibilities:

Design and establish frameworks for monitoring internal controls. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of controls. Develop and implement data automation processes. Investigate control failures and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with bankers to resolve control breaks. Prepare and deliver detailed reports on control metrics. Assist with internal and external audits. Support risk and control-related business processes. Liaise with bankers to facilitate compliance processes. Manage and lead a control monitoring team. Coach and mentor team members to meet performance objectives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in financial services. Over 10 years of experience in controls, operations, or risk management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Alteryx, and QlikSense. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong networking and relationship-building abilities. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Highly organized and adaptable in fast-paced environments. Experience in leading and training staff.
