Job Description
This position is responsible for the wiring and final assembly of panel boards related to low and medium voltage switchgears, or the mechanical assembly of frames.
Increase in pay after 3 months and 6 months!
ResponsibilitiesElectrical controls panel and wiringFollow wiring diagrams and schematicsInstall pre-wired panel into control boxTerminate wiring based on schematicsDiagnose and understand blueprints and schematic drawings to determine wiring layoutInspect parts to find defects and ensure qualityEnsure proper protective equipment is worn at all times and tools or other equipment is used based on the taskRegular in-person attendance is an essential function of this jobEssential SkillsAt least 2 years’ experience as a mechanical assembler, machine builder, or even automotive technician!Basic computer skillsAbility to use shop equipment and hand toolsPerform basic math functions including an understanding of fractions and decimalsAbility to take direction, follow instruction, and work with others with a positive attitudeFluency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to perform job duties requiring high-level English proficiencyAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Technical School preferred but not requiredMechanical assembly skillsExperience with hand and power toolsFamiliarity with voltmeter and electrical assemblyWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The facility is medium-sized with 60 employees, manufacturing everything from start to finish in fabrication, welding, wiring, and assembly. The facility is very clean, new, modernly designed, and has comfortable temperatures to work in.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00
