As a Control  Software Engineer, you will be a responsible for application software development for Turbo Machinery equipment ( Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Electric motor driven compressor  etc…) for  Baker Hughes Turbo machinery & process solutions  business. You'll be responsible for development, testing & site commissioning support for the assigned projects.  Develop innovative software solutions towards energy transition.

As a control Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Development of application software for Gas turbines, Steam Turbine for mechanical drive  (compressor) & generator drive applicationsInterpretation of the P&ID & implementation of all the control loops/schemesLow fidelity simulation development to test the operative sequencesHMI/SCADA development & testing.Translating requirements / specifications into control logic/software and deliver projects within required timelines and with high quality standards.Work with internal stake holders & customers & ensure unit control panel  FAT/SAT is closed for the projects.Working with cross-functional engineering teams to understand project requirements & deliver the projects in full compliance with requirementsProvide support to the site in successful commissioning of the machines within the SLA boundaries.Work on the various control platforms like GE Speedtronic (Mark Vie), Siemens, Triconex, Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc (RX3i, Rx7i),  & SCADA  packages like  Cimplicity, WinCC, etcc.Mentoring the junior team members on the Control software development

Have 4+ years of hands-on experience in the development of application software/control logic of gas turbine/Steam turbine  unit control systems.Have 4+ years of Hands on experience in 1 or more control systems, mentioned below.Have good knowledge or experience in 1 or more control systems, such as GE Spectronic (Mark Vie), Siemens -S7 Platform, Triconex, Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc (RX3i, Rx7i), Woodward, CCC.Have good knowledge or experience in 1 or more SCADA packages - Cimplicity and WinCC.Have knowledge or experience in the operation of Gas Turbine and steam turbines for the Oil & Gas domain. HaveHave good understanding and implementation experience of control logic/ application software for rotating machinery applications in the Oil & Gas Domain.Have exposure to all the applicable national & international standards for the control systems of rotating machinery equipment in the Oil & Gas Domain.Have exposure to acceptance test procedures (FAT/SAT), involving major Oil & Gas customers & EPC organizations.Have exposure to site commissioning procedures of gas/steam turbines involving major Oil & Gas customers & EPC organizations.Be an excellent team player & work with the team in resolving the difficult situations that evolve during the project execution.
