Control Systems Engineer - Incineration (HTT)\n

The Control Systems Engineer will manage, coordinate, and develop all aspects of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems and Distributive Control Systems to ensure the facility is operating in a manner safe to human health and the environment. \n

Essential Functions & Requirements: \n\nEnsures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.\nMaintain process related systems\nModify software and hardware to improve process capabilities\nMaintain communication between DCS\/PLC\/TCPIP bases systems\nPerform data analysis to better understand process capabilities\nTrain operations and maintenance personnel on computer systems\nSetting up, installing, and maintaining PCs and software.\nOn-call during off-work hours\nCoordinates project activities with government regulatory agencies\nOther duties as assigned\n\n

Education:\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or equivalent. (required) \n\n

Experience: \n\nMinimum three (3) years' experience with PC operating systems, PLC, DCS, and\/or SCADA programming applications. (required)\nThree (3) years' experience in Visual Basic, Database programming, PC\/Server networking, instrumentation, and industrial control system design. (preferred)\nExperience with ABB Bailey Infi 90, Allen Bradley PLC, RCRA, and MACT regulations. (preferred)\nTCP \/ IP networking and NT experience. (preferred)\n\n

Competencies: \n\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines with shifting priorities.\nExcellent problem resolution, judgement, and decision-making skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong interpersonal skills, including the ability to both lead and work within a team environment.\nAbility to travel up to 10% of time to assist at other Heritage locations.\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, and drug screen.\nRegular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job. \n\n
