Work you’ll do
The Control Systems Program Support Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to configure building-level HVAC DDC systems to integrate HVAC equipment and related devices into a central DDC server. The role involves supporting the setup and operation of a Facility and Energy Operations Center and a Smart Grid system. Key responsibilities and required expertise include:
Configuring building-level DDC using JCI Metasys to integrate HVAC equipment and related devices into a central serverServing as the subject matter expert (SME) on JCI MetasysParticipating in design and submittal reviews for new construction and renovation projectsAdhering to established DDC standards for projectsMonitoring the JCI Metasys system for any irregularities and coordinating with relevant personnel to troubleshoot and resolve issuesEnsuring quality assurance and control for corrective actions addressing operational issuesProviding recommendations to optimize building system performanceConducting operational analysis of DDC and associated equipment using JCI Metasys, Smart Grid analytics, and data from other applications such as AMI and SCADACollecting, maintaining, and analyzing operational data for integrated DDC systemsPerforming quality assurance for Smart Grid and DDC energy analyticsImplementing and monitoring reliability and resiliency metrics to maximize system/equipment life and minimize breakdown maintenanceAssisting in DDC system integration into the Smart Grid systemSupporting operation and maintenance of HVAC systemsAssisting with performing Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirement Guides (SRGs)Conducting ACAS scans and generating reportsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailQualifications
Required:
Active Secret ClearanceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldA minimum of three (3) years of related experience and/or training including military or civilian experienceAbility to be on site 100% of the time in Yokosuka JapanPreferred:
Knowledge of BACnet MS/TP, BACnet/IP, and other industrial communication protocolsFamiliarity with HVAC Systems equipment and operationUnderstanding of HVAC Control Systems and utility information systemsExperience with energy-management technologiesAt least five years of related experience, including military or civilian rolesExperience with ACAS scans, applying patches, and implementing DISA STIGs and BenchmarksExperience supporting activities to achieve and maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO), including submitting change requests for newly installed devicesThe wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $92,981 to $179,438.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
