Read on to learn more! **About the Role** As a Control Systems Technician, you will focus on operational performance by troubleshooting and maintaining material handling equipment (MHE) such as conveyors, sortation systems, scanners, cameras and SCADA devices/programs. **What You’ll Do** + Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures. + Manage material handling control systems, industrial, motor control systems, servo and frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems. + Monitor MHE metrics and partner with Controls Technicians and Mechanics to resolve equipment electrical problems that create performance deficiencies. + Use operation system assessment reports to improve material handling system reliability through preventive maintenance tasks completion and identification of deficiency repairs. + Communicate technical issues to site and operations leadership. + Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and the Operations Maintenance team members. + Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned. **What You’ll** **Need** + Applicants must be currently authorized to work in US or Canada without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. + High school diploma or general education degree (GED). + Experience working with Motor Controls (motor starts, variable frequency drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components). + Experience working with repair of control network components. + 1+ years of experience working with HMI components. + 1+ years of experience working with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs. + 1+ years of experience with Industrial and electrical troubleshooting. + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). + Ability to solve problems and carry out general instructions in standard situations. · Ability to move up to 50lbs and physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs / ladders with or without reasonable accommodation. **Preferred Qualifications** + Associate degree in electronic technology (or similar field). + 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in Control Systems troubleshooting/ programming. + Experience supporting a range of different conveyors and sortation systems. + Experience with robotic maintenance. + Experience with AB RS LOGIX 5000 PLC’s and PLC components. + Experience with SCADA systems and KPI’s. **CBRE Employee Benefits** + Comprehensive medical, dental, vision + Disability benefit program + 401k company matching + Paid time off and holidays + Company paid life insurance + Pet insurance + Paid parental leave **Why CBRE?** We invest in our employees’ development.
