Description Bridget Killen from Robert Half is looking for a Controller in the agriculture industry, located in SILVERTON, Oregon. The Controller will be instrumental in managing the financial health of our organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and compliance with regulations. The role would work closely with the owners and the organization's CPA.
Responsibilities include:
• Overseeing the management of all accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Utilizing Quickbooks to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions. • Implementing and managing audit processes to ensure compliance with regulations. • Ensuring accurate financial reporting and making recommendations for improvement. • Implementing efficient systems and processes to enhance financial operations. • Managing budget processes for optimal allocation and utilization of resources. • Ensuring regulatory compliance in all accounting functions. • Monitoring and taking appropriate action on customer accounts to ensure financial stability. • Playing a key role in shaping the future of our organization through strategic financial planning and management.

Requirements • Proficiency in Quickbooks is mandatory. • Thorough knowledge of Accounting Functions is expected. • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). • Prior experience in Auditing is desirable. • Proficiency in managing Budget Processes is expected. • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Demonstrated leadership skills. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. • detail oriented certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is preferred. • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
