Description Our client based in Monmouth County seeks a Controller with 3+ years as a Controller. Experience with Logistics is highly preferred. Responsibilities include: + Oversee all accounting operations within the department, including invoice processing, expenses, payroll, and asset management. + Lead the budget development process and assist with financial planning and forecasting efforts. + Ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded, reconciled, and reported in compliance with accounting regulations and standards. + Collaborate with operations staff to align financial management with short-term and long-term operational strategies. + Provide regular financial reports for senior management, using this information to guide strategic decision making. + Keep up-to-date with advances in field, changes in regulation, and industry trends to ensure compliance and competitiveness. + Coordinate all audit activity and work closely with both internal and external auditors. + Develop and monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost-reduction.
