Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join a family-oriented company in the Industrial Manufacturing and Supply industry, located near Dickinson and San Leon, Texas. This role involves managing accounting functions, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining the general ledger, and managing balance sheets. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage all general ledger activities • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy within the department • Manage and coordinate all budgeting activities • Oversee the preparation and management of balance sheets • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures • Monitor financial transactions and reports • Implement systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information • Work closely with team members to achieve finance department goals • Supervise the work of staff in the accounting department Requirements • Proven experience in overseeing and managing accounting functions • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite • Demonstrates high ethical standards and integrity in all work-related actions.
