Description
We are seeking a Controller to join our team near Exeter, New Hampshire. This role involves managing the organization's financial operations, including preparing and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and reports, managing cash flow, and overseeing banking relationships.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports to ensure accuracy.
• Manage the organization's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
• Handle banking relationships and ensure compliance with loan agreements.
• Analyze financial data to pinpoint trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Present financial results to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including management of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations.
• Manage tax filings and coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
• Oversee accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), budget processes, and month-end close activities.
• Responsible for auditing and KPI reporting.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Budget Processes including planning, development, and implementation
• Experience in KPI Reporting and the ability to interpret and analyze data effectively
• In-depth knowledge and experience in Month End Close procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification such as CPA is preferred.
