Insight Global is recruiting for a Controller to sit in Northbrook, IL supporting a small construction company. Our ideal candidate is going to be the leadership of the accounting group and needs to be a jack of all trades. We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelors in accounting, 5 years or more of experience with accounting, experience in a union environment, and previous job history working in the construction/contracting industry. This person will manage a billing/payroll employee and an AR/AP employee. Some other parts include but are not limited to:
Accounts payable, union payroll/union benefits
Reporting, general accounting, general ledger maintenance, job cost management
Cash management/banking, daily support, staff training, HR duties
Salary management, hiring, firing, insurance, employee benefits
