We are seeking an experienced **Controller** to lead our finance and accounting functions. This role is essential for ensuring the financial health, compliance, and efficiency of our organization. The Controller will oversee financial reporting, manage accounting processes, and provide strategic insights to support business decisions.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Prepare, review, and present financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annually).
+ Ensure accurate and timely month-end closings in compliance with company standards and deadlines.
+ Analyze current and past financial statements, identifying trends and anomalies to inform decision-making.
+ Oversee monthly reporting processes to maintain accuracy and completeness.
+ Supervise external CPA firm activities, ensuring proper record-keeping and efficient information exchange.
+ Direct daily activities of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) teams.
+ Conduct or oversee financial analyses to support strategic planning.
+ Manage cost accounting activities and provide insights into cost optimization.
+ Oversee inventory management and control processes.
+ Provide financial support and reporting to the sales team.
+ Periodically review and enhance accounting processes, including month-end close, audit controls, and chart of accounts management.
+ Ensure timely payment of sales, fuel, and property taxes.
+ Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring adherence to financial controls and policies.
+ Drive forecasting and planning initiatives to support organizational growth.
+ Maintain and improve the financial control environment through best practices, policies, and procedures.
+ Prepare daily cash reporting and manage monthly cash forecasting, planning, and budgeting.
**Qualifications**
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
+ **Experience:** Minimum of seven years in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with experience in manufacturing and consumer products preferred.
+ CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and manage teams.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proficiency with financial and accounting reporting systems and advanced Excel skills; PowerPoint experience is a plus.
+ Strong understanding of financial controls, reporting systems, and processes.
+ Proven ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

**Pay Details:** $125,000.00 to $145,000.00 per year
