Description Manufacturing client located in Nassau County seeks a hands-on Controller. This diverse role will have you "in the trenches" with all aspects of accounting operations, financial analysis, and process improvement. Along with providing guidance and mentoring to a small team, your job will include responsibility for managing the close process, producing monthly financial statements, conducting periodic inventory counts and analysis, as well as financial planning, reporting, variance analysis, and handling all aspects of internal audit. NetSuite experience and strong Excel skills are highly desirable for this role; previous experience working for a PE backed entity is also preferred. Requirements • NetSuite experience HIGHLY preferred. • Strong background in Budgeting and Forecasting. • Must possess excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team. • Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills. • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA is a plus. • Demonstrable ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
