Description We are offering a contract for a Controller position based in RIO RANCHO, New Mexico. As a key player in the construction industry, you will be tasked with managing all financial aspects of construction projects. This includes maintaining project budgets, preparing job cost forecasts, and assisting with financial reporting functions. Responsibilities: • Handle the financial aspects of construction projects to ensure they adhere to the budget. • Generate job cost reports and financial forecasts in a timely and accurate manner. • Collaborate with project managers and directors to establish final project budgets and routinely evaluate project performance against these budgets. • Aid with procedures for month-end closing, register all costs related to individual projects, and provide frequent financial updates. • Inspect financial documents and procedures, reconcile bank statements, and compute tax payments and returns. • Develop and manage all construction budgets while carrying out financial analysis, projection, and planning. • Utilize accounting software systems effectively for all accounting functions. • Perform auditing tasks and manage accounts payable and receivable. • Heavy General Ledger work • Leverage 3M and ADP - Financial Services skills for optimal financial management. Requirements • Proficiency in 3M software /advanced in Excel/ Sage 300 • Proficient understanding and usage of Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services • Demonstrated ability to use CRM effectively • Skilled in Crystal Reports • Solid understanding of Accounting Functions • Proven experience with Accounts Payable (AP) • Demonstrated proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) • Extensive experience in Auditing • Familiarity with Budget Processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
