Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Controller in the manufacturing industry. The location for this role is in Rochester, New York, United States. As a Controller, you will be expected to oversee accounting functions, manage account and bank reconciliations, and provide audit support. You will also be in charge of processing accounts payable and receivable, and consolidating financial statements. Responsibilities: • Oversee the execution of all accounting functions • Process and manage accounts payable and receivable • Ensure accurate account and bank reconciliations • Provide crucial support during auditing processes • Prepare and consolidate financial statements • Supervise the application of accounting software systems • Manage the month end close procedures • Ensure compliance with budget processes • Utilize accounting software for effective financial management • Oversee the consolidation processes • Manage the application of consolidated financial statements. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Familiarity with Auditing procedures and practices • Knowledge of Budget Processes and their implementation • Proficiency in using Great Plains Dynamics • Experience with Consolidated Financial and Consolidated Financial Statements • Familiarity with Consolidation Processes • Ability to handle Month End Close procedures • Experience in Account Reconciliation • Proficiency in Bank Account Reconciliation • Experience with Bank Reconciliations Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
