Description We are in the process of recruiting a Controller for our retail food store located in BOHEMIA, New York. The Controller will be integral in maintaining our financial health, preparing and reviewing budget forecasts, and ensuring our financial reports are accurate and timely. Responsibilities: • Efficiently and accurately handling the preparation and issuance of monthly financial reports, along with necessary supporting documentation. • Conducting regular analysis to identify variances from budget and promptly escalating significant issues to the management team. • Leading the annual corporate budget preparation and quarterly forecasts in line with corporate schedules. • Preparing weekly cash flow forecasts to aid Corporate Treasury operations. • Creating and presenting financial reports for key stakeholders, including but not limited to monthly financial reports, annual budgets, and quarterly price reviews. • Developing, calculating, and issuing reports on financial and operational metrics. • Utilizing accounting software systems such as 3M, ADP - Financial Services, and CRM for efficient financial management. • Overseeing accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, and auditing procedures. • Managing budget processes and using tools like Crystal Reports for financial analysis. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controller in the retail industry, preferably in a food store • Proficient in 3M, a must-have skill for this role • Demonstrated expertise in using Accounting Software Systems is required • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential • Proficiency in CRM is a key requirement • Ability to generate Crystal Reports is necessary • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions is required • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential • Proficient in Auditing, a key requirement for this role • Familiarity with Budget Processes is a must-have for this role Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
