Job Description
Oversee all accounting and financial operations. This role includes managing the company's books, handling monthly billings, and maintaining financial records for an approximately 50 million dollar general contractor.
Responsibilities
+ Full charge of bookkeeping and financial records.
+ Manage monthly billings.
+ Oversee financial accounts.
+ Supervise monthly billings for lump sum and GMP contracts.
+ Utilize percentage of completion accounting.
+ Oversee schedules.
+ Invoice subcontractors and keep track of schedules of work.
+ Prepare and generate necessary backups, breakdowns, reports, and bank documents.
+ Collaborate with project managers to generate and monitor monthly WIP (Work in Progress) statements.
+ Utilize Procore, AccuBuild, and Microsoft Office including Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA Preferred)
+ Strong Construction Accounting Background 8+ years
+ Experience working for a general contractor
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and accounting software
+ Able to get involved in duties unrelated to the job description and help where needed
Work Environment
In office 5 days a week. This is a close-knit family-run business. Benefits once permanent are extensive and include a car allowance, $100/month for cell phone, gas card, paid health insurance, profit sharing, 401k, and an annual company retreat for your family to attend.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
