Controller
Description The Controller will be a key member of the financial leadership team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and compliance. The successful candidate will provide strategic guidance, manage a team of accounting professionals, and ensure the organization’s financial health is aligned with its overall objectives. Key Responsibilities + Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including ledger management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. + Prepare financial statements while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and all regulatory requirements + Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing leadership and development opportunities. + Develop and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data. + Coordinate and lead the annual audit process with external auditors. + Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions. + Oversee tax compliance and planning, making sure all filings are completed accurately and on time. + Partner with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies, budgets, and forecast Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required. + 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3+ years of leadership experience. + In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, corporate tax regulations, and financial reporting. + Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. + Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication abilities. Preferred Qualifications + Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance. + Experience working in technology industry. + Proven ability to implement process improvements and optimize financial systems. + Experience managing multi-entity or global consolidations.
