Description We are seeking a Family Office Controller in Jupiter, Florida to join our client's team. This role involves overseeing personal bill-paying services, financial management, personal accounting services, and trust management. You will also be providing accounting services for multiple entities. Responsibilities: • Oversee personal bill-paying services and manage all aspects of it • Handle the management and organization of mail packages and electronic/emailed invoices • Carry out financial management duties including processing transfers between accounts based on funding needs and assisting with drafting requests for outgoing wires • Perform daily updates of cash schedule, reflecting all cash activity and upcoming payments due • Conduct monthly reconciliation of checking, money market accounts and credit card balances • Maintain general ledger using QuickBooks Online • Monitor bank account balances and transaction activity daily • Assist with the management of documents generated from private equity investments and with capital calls • Manage eMoney portal, updating account balances as needed • Oversee transactions related to the Opportunity Trust, including account transfers related to distributions and processing of checks for tax payments and other payments • Coordinate with external family advisors for personal accounting services • Provide bill-paying services for multiple entities, including managing payments for independent contractors and employees if applicable. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Controller • Proficiency in managing all Accounting Functions • Expertise in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Extensive experience in Auditing • Proven skills in Financial Reporting • Capability to effectively handle Month End Close procedures • Strong ability in Budgeting and Forecasting • Proficiency in using Quickbooks Online software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
