Description We are in search of a Controller to be a part of our team located in SAN LEANDRO, California. The role involves the use of various skills such as CRM, Crystal Reports, and Accounting Functions. This role falls within the industry and offers an exciting opportunity. Responsibilities: + Develop and implement financial strategies to support company goals and objectives. + Oversee corporate accounting functions: accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, tax filings, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management. + Prepare and present accurate financial reports to division leaders and company owners. + Use accounting software (Sage 100) and integrated platforms to enhance financial processes and data accuracy. + Monitor industry trends and economic conditions to guide strategic decisions. + Manage relationships with CPA, TPA, Insurance Brokers, and regulatory agencies to ensure transparency and accountability. Requirements + 5 years of experience in construction accounting. + 10 years of experience in corporate accounting. + Expertise in cash management and WIP reconciliation. + Proficiency in accounting software, especially Sage 100. + Strong skills in financial report writing and technical accounting principles. + Ability to perform thorough account analysis for informed decision-making. + Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. + Proven leadership abilities to manage a finance team effectively. + Experience in budgeting and forecasting within the construction industry. + Strong communication skills for cross-level collaboration.
